Rogers Road Construction

Summer Gardening in Minnesota

Summer is here and it's time to get outside, enjoy the warm weather, and relax in the garden. Flowering annuals are covered in blooms right now and some of our favorite summer perennials are starting to put on a show.

Early season vegetables like lettuce, kale, and more are ready for harvest now and the warm weather is helping other vegetables like tomatoes and peppers take off. If you haven't fertilized your vegetables yet, now is a great time. Don't forget to keep your vegetable garden or containers well-watered during dry weather, ripening vegetables require a good amount of water.
