Kohlrabi Slaw

2 medium kohlrabi
2 medium carrots
2 Tablespoons vinegar or lemon juice
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon celery seed
1/4 teaspoon mustard seeds
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon sugar
1 tablespoon grated onion


  1. Shred or matchstick kohlrabi and carrots, put in large bowl.
  2. Stir together all other ingredients.
  3. Pour over cabbage and mix well.

For variety add diced onion, pepper, celery or tomatoes.
