Baked Acorn Squash

Ingredients:

1 acorn squash
2 tsp brown sugar (or honey)
2 tsp butter
1 tsp salt

Directions

  1. Cut squash in half, scrape out seeds.
  2. Put brown sugar, butter and salt in the hollow where the seeds were.
  3. Place in a covered baking dish. Pour 1/4" water in bottom of dish.
  4. Cover and bake at 400°F for 1 hour.
  5. Remove the cover during the last half hour of baking.
