Chives Growing and Maintenance Tips:

Plant in a reliably sunny spot. Best in fertile, well-drained soil. Keep soil moist, watering freely in dry weather.

Cut to the base of the plant when harvesting to encourage new growth.

Chives should be divided about every three years.
