Geranium - Zonal Pillar Scarlet Geranium

Geranium - Zonal 'Pillar Scarlet'

Geranium Pelargonium x

Breeder

The Pillars, once established in their final containers should also be grown under the zonal geranium regime. Early in production, the Pillars should either be grown in a smaller container prior to planting in the finished (large) container or if potted directly into the large pot, the Pillars need to grown warm until they are well established. This group in best when multiple plants are grown in a large (14") container within a large "cage". We have also seen these varieties utilized in a large conbination wire basket. The Pillars have exhibited some low-pH sensitivity, so pH should be maintained at 6.0 or higher.
