Pelgardinis are zonal geraniums with variegated foliage and should therefore be grown utilizing the zonal production schedule. Since these varieties are grown primarily for their multicolored foliage, they can be grown without consideration for flowering. Most of the Pelgardinis lack the chlorophyll content of other zonals and therfore may not size-up as rapidly. Also, consider that some of these are diploid geraniums (single-flowered) and can exhibit low-pH sensitivity. Keep pH of these varieties at or above 6.0.
